Electronic Data InterchangeBeth Davis, PMP, brings almost 30 years of healthcare EDI experience to Veradigm. She’s held leadership roles in practice management systems R&D, support and interfaces, in addition to leading a wide variety of projects such as the transition from multiple proprietary transaction formats to ANSI 4010, and the ICD9 to ICD10 transition. In her current role, Beth oversees clearinghouse operations, compliance, and operational readiness for Payerpath products.
Beth believes in sharing knowledge and collaborating with others in the industry to ensure the very best outcomes. Toward this end, she’s a member of the Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange (WEDI) where she co-chairs both the Claim subworkgroup and the Data Exchange subworkgroup. In these roles, she has helped author and publish two papers. She’s also part of a small task force convened by WEDI leaders to present and drive ongoing initiatives for the clarification and implementation of the ‘No Surprises Act’. The task force has presented to national audiences.
Beth is also a leader in the Cooperative Exchange, a national clearinghouse association that allows us to collaborate with other companies like ours and provides input on government regulations for the healthcare industry. In her role as the chairperson for the Emerging Trends Committee and Strategic Innovation Committee, she has published findings from a major enrollment survey, presented to multiple audiences and is leading solutions based on these findings.
“My mission is to provide resources and remove obstacles to empower others to do their best work,” says Beth. “There is so much to do, so many areas to grow. We can do everything better if we work together.”
