Dr. Vasey is a senior clinical consultant at Veradigm Health with over 25 years of experience in health outcomes and healthcare quality research. He is responsible for the design, analysis, and interpretation of studies related to quality of care and outcomes of care based on data collected through the Allscripts and Practice Fusion platforms.

Joe came to Veradigm / Practice Fusion from Quintiles and General Electric Healthcare, where he served as science lead and director of RWD Outcomes Research. He held responsibility for the development, planning, scientific oversight and execution of programs and studies in clinical data services for the bio-pharmaceutical industry.

Joe has expertise with many forms of real world healthcare data including electronic health records, health care claims, registries, and surveys. He has presented at scientific meetings, published journal articles, reviewed manuscripts, served on grant review study committees, and taught graduate level courses. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University.
