Prior to his clinical informatics career, he owned a single provider office and practiced community medicine in western suburbs of Mumbai, India. Dr. Ram Venugopalan is originally from India and is now based out of Raleigh, North Carolina, where he lives with his family. Dr. Ram has been with Allscripts since 2009 and has worked with all EHR platforms sold by Allscripts. He is focused on making Practice Fusion to be the best ambulatory EHR in the market and help clinicians navigate through the complex regulations in healthcare delivery. Dr. Ram is passionate about reducing clinician burden and promotes the philosophy of more Provider patient facetime and less time navigating through the digital chart.
