Allscripts’ 2021 Community Impact Report
2021 represented a year of perseverance as we continued to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the healthcare industry, our workplaces, and our personal lives. However, with the development of new vaccines, hope began to take shape. Together, we began cautiously connecting again, and it was time to roll up our sleeves and start to rebuild.
Now, we are pleased to share the results of this effort in our 2021 Community Impact Report. Here you will find stories of our philanthropic programs, showcasing the collaborative efforts we made in our communities through social & environmental responsibility, charitable partnerships, and volunteerism.
Allscripts and Veradigm believe that healthcare becomes better for all when we prioritize investing in our communities through dollars, ideas, and action. We are proud to share that in 2021, we created over 100 giveback initiatives and donated more than a half million dollars to charitable programs.
We are especially proud of our commitment to strengthening diversity, equity, and inclusion at Allscripts. The expansion of our internal Employee Resource Groups has helped create avenues for support, and our ADP Empower program works to address healthcare inequities by diversifying the next generation of leaders in healthcare innovation.
At Allscripts and Veradigm, creating healthcare solutions is about more than just technology – it’s about driving change through funding science, improving behaviors, reaching out to those in need, and investing in the health of our communities.
